I mastered as a civil engineer in electrical engineering ECS (Electronic Circuits and Systems) at the University of Ghent. During my studies I got in contact with Dekimo through the robot competition of which they were the main sponsor.

My job at Dekimo is quite diverse, I mainly design hardware and VHDL code, however from time to time I even write some embedded software for my designs. I think it’s nice to be able to be in charge of the whole process from the concept all the way to a functioning PCB. During the design of a new PCB I think about the components we need and the schematic and I start layouting. After ordering the prototypes I can test and evaluate my own prints, it’s really satisfying to see the print coming alive.
